Subject: Not the full text
Thompson's is important and deserving of study. It lays the foundations on which Marx developed his version of socialism, and should be required reading for any study of political economy. However, please be aware that this is not the "full text". Rather, it is an abridged version that was produced by William Pare in 1850. Thompson's original text was published in 1824. While Thompson's original is very long -- 600 pages -- Pare didn't just cut down on the repetition, but sanitized it to make it more generally palatable.
